Mr. Paul is a Republican Congressman but is ideologically a libertarian--and he is the only one in Congress. He is the only Representative to vote consistantly for economic freedom on issues dealing with governemnt control over the economy (ie regulation, taxes, spending, etc.). I disagree w/ his foreign policy stances to a large extent, but I also believe that for anyone who believes in free market capitalism he must be the best politician on the national scene.

Ryan was a bit vague with his excerpt. Ron Paul is a 10-term Republican Congressman from Texas. His bio and voting record should prove helpful in learning more about Representative Ron Paul. The article has been edited with more information about Mr. Paul. Thank you.

So, does this "Paul" have a last name? Or if this is his last name, what would his first name be? Some clarification would be helpful.
